Pima County Office

From 2014 to 2019, I was the Chief Information Officer and Technology Director for Pima County. I was given the opportunity to set up my office as I saw fit by the County Administrator, my boss, and I created an office designed to be technology centric allowing for the exchange of information and communication across the entire County and beyond. I divided the office into 3 sections; a personal work area, an area where a small group of people could sit comfortably and meet while having access to a table top smartboard to access information, and a large conference area with access to an 84 inch smartboard where I could meet with staff, other county officials, and visitors. The large smartboard provided access to information resources, video conferencing, etc. I ended up using my own personal monies to buy some of the furniture and all of the artwork for the office. Given the amount of time I spent of my waking day in the office, I wanted an office that brought me peace and comfort.
