Pont du Gard

Decided to visit Pont du Gard on this trip since I missed it in 2011. This Roman aqueduct was built to provide water to Nîmes. It was worth the visit; the structure is absolutely amazing. We ended up touring the museum while there as well.

A lot of graffiti has been edged into the blocks over the centuries.
You will note there is no mortar used in building the Pont du Gard.
