Georgia Republic 2009
I have had the good fortune to visit the Republic of Georgia several times. It is a beautiful country which I have wanted to visit since participating in the National Geographic Genome Project and finding out that my DNA results pinpoint my ancestors having resided in Georgia at some point in the past. In the summer of 2009, I accepted an offer to work on a USAID funded project that is helping the Georgian Ministry of Education and Science develop an educational management system. The project is an exciting one and I've come to make some very good and dear friends in my short time visiting Georgia. I hope you enjoy the photos.
