Moulin de la Roque

Moulin de la Roque is a beautiful estate in Noves, which is just outside of Avignon in the Provence region. Stayed here in 2011, and I had to return for this trip as it is a beautiful estate. It was a great place for us to come back to after a day of visiting villages.
About Moulin de la Roque.
Just past the electronically controlled gate, here begins the main entrance into the estate.
The roses are beautiful and there is bench just barely visible in the photo where one can sit, read, contemplate, etc., while the river passes by.
Through this door one can take a walking path that runs next to the river.

At the gate. Two small rivers converge here.

The gate. Past this gate is a one lane road that meanders a way before coming into the village of Noves.
The stairs leading to the apartment. The apartment is located in a converted flour mill.

We had this waiting for us, a Tarte Tropézienne. It was absolutely wonderful. I gained nearly 6 lbs during this trip.
