Freedom Square

When I visit Tbilisi, I stay at the Marriott on Freedom Square as it is so conveniently located to eating establishments, grocery stores and pharmacies. The photos in this section were taken from either my room, 204, or from just outside the entrance to the hotel.

Down the street where all the cars are coming from there are some fantastic eating establishments and my favorite ice cream shop in Tbilisi.

I believe the church lit up behind City Hall is St. Nikolozi. The Narikala Fortress in just behind City Hall on the right of the photo.

The building in yellow has been completely renovated since my last trip in May of 2011. I really like the way they design the buildings in Georgia.
